Gawker is trash. Plain and simple. They're extremists in their views and there's no "debate" because they refuse to hear anything except what they want.

I am so conflicted by this.

On one hand, Gawker is supposed to be full of "leftist - free thinkers" who don't look at things at face value but can see good in many things.

On the other hand, this is Gawker, where if you don't agree with whats said in the comments, no matter what is said in the comments, you are a racist, bigoted bush lover who has an IQ or 4 and probably find your cousin attractive.

So to find both of these types of comments showing up under one article, about an 11 year old, is.... strange to someone like me, that only visits jalopnik and oppositelock.
